In 2017, Canelo and Golovkin were divided in their decision. Because Alvarez tested positive for Clenbuterol, the bout has to be rescheduled till 2018. Canelo won by a large margin. Canelo has agreed to fight against Bivol and Golovkin for DAZN and Matchroom.
